1 cup of sugar

1 cup of soy sauce

1 cup of ketchup

2 tsp of garlic powder

2 tsp of ground ginger

2 lbs of beef top sirloin steak, cut into 1 ½ inch cubes

2 to 3 small zucchini, cut into 1 inch slices

½ lb of fresh mushrooms

1 large sweet pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces

1 small onion, cut into 1 inch pieces 2 cups cubed pineapples


  1. From marinade, mix first 5 ingredients. Add half the marinade and beef to a large bowl.  Cover and reserve remaining marinade. Cover and refrigerate beef and marinade overnight.
  2. On metal or soaked wooden skewers, thread vegetables and.  On separate skewers, thread beef and pineapple.  Discard remaining marinade from beef bowl.  Grill kabobs, covered, over medium heat until vegetables are tender and reaches desired doneness, turning occasionally.
  3. In a small saucepan, bring reserved marinade to a boil, stirring occasionally; cook for 1 minute. Serve with sauce.
